A hold can block release even when bond is posted in another case. A warrant number may point to the court matter that caused custody, not the new booking number. The safest match uses the agency, date, report or booking number, and court case number together rather than relying on a shared name.

Prosecutor and court reporting later adds the filed charge and disposition.
