Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or location submitted through a search box goes directly to the outside provider that operates the tool. That provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not retain or log those search terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We may keep an email long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, standard server and analytics systems may collect technical visit details:
- Page-view dates and times
- Device type and operating system

- IP address associated with the device
- Referring site, when one is supplied
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not build, host, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Our content identifies how Howard County records are requested from the sheriff and Circuit Clerk and how statewide information is reached through Missouri State Highway Patrol CJIS, the Missouri Central Repository, MODOC, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. Missouri's Sunshine Law and §43.507 RSMo govern public-government and criminal-history dissemination issues; those official systems remain separate from visitor data here. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information entered there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing rules rather than this policy. Review those terms before submitting a query because we do not control the provider's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Howard County Sheriff, Missouri Case.net, MACHS, MODOC, registry pages, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy terms apply. Read them before providing personal details.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites or personalize ads. Those practices occur on provider systems.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be received by:
